Schedule Audit
The audit is recommended for new students wishing to observe our program before registering as a beginner. An audit is required if you wish to get approval as an experienced actor to skip our beginner class.
- Acting Foundations are participation audits where time permits.
- Improv Mechanics and Meisner have open audits the first two week of every new quarter, coinciding with open enrollment.
- Auditing our Acting Technique class is observation only.
What to Expect From Your Audit
Wednesdays 6:00pm
This class is recommend for beginners and those just starting formal training.
This is a full participation audit depending on class size, priority in exercises will go to enrolled students. Class meets from 6:00pm-8:00 or 8:30pm. This class audit is a great option for beginning & brand new actors who wish to get a taste of the class before committing. You will take the class as if it is your first day and then you can decide to enroll. An audit is not a guaranteed spot in class. After you’ve attended your audit, you will need to register as a new student and commit to monthly enrollment. Then you will then be offered the next available spot in class.
Sunday 1pm or Thursday 6:30pm
An Acting Technique Audit class is largely observational of the dedicated students working at this level. You are expected to participate in class warm-ups. Depending on class size and time permitting, students may be invited to participate in any group exercises that day.
Class meets from Sundays 1pm-4pm or Thursdays 6:30pm-10:30pm.
Please note that the audit is for three hours – but Thursday class may go up to four hours.
- Acting Technique requires approval to join – we welcome any actor with a strong basic foundation to pursue advancing right into one of our Technique classes. To do so we ask that you audit on Thursday night with our Coach Rachel Grimes. She will hold a brief assessment to ensure that you have the background that our Acting Foundations course holds necessary to be successful in Acting Technique. You can also audit Sundays class if the date is better, and reach out to pursue a phone assessment with Rachel for approval into the class.
Tuesdays 8:00pm
Recommended for those with 9 months of improv training either in Improv Mechanics or elsewhere.
- Interested students can choose to audit the first two weeks of every open enrollment period.
- These dates are reflected when you select a date to audit.
- Auditors would have to enroll by Week 3 to continue the module.
Students are invited to participate time permitting. Priority will go to enrolled students. Students who choose to enroll are committing to a 16 week/4 mo. program. High Performance Improv introduces skills then exercises them within structure and format to be stage ready. Each modules culminates with a showcase and the performance skills to take to any local stage.
Tuesdays 6:00pm
Recommended for any and all levels.
- Interested students can choose can choose a single audit within the first three weeks of open enrollment.
- These dates are reflected when you select a date to audit.
- Auditors would have to enroll by Week four to continue the module.
Students are invited to participate time permitting. Priority will go to enrolled students. Students who choose to enroll are committing to a twelve week/3 mo. program. The Improv Mechanics builds upon exercises learned in every class, therefore, entry into the garage is only during the first month of every three month module without exception.
Meisner is recommended to Actors with a strong foundation (suggested 3+ mo. of Actor Training).

Students are invited to participate time permitting. Priority will go to enrolled students. The Meisner technique builds upon exercises learned in every class, so that students must have done the prior work to participate in the class work. Entry into the Meisner technique classes are every three months without exception.
