Arizona Actors Academy and Theatre Upstairs is proud to present our regular series presented live and in person and directly to you in your home.  Our Friday Night Readings series is devoted to supporting up and coming writers and the development of new works! Presented both in studio and through our Sandra Seacat Virtual Theatre we will read original works from playwrights and screenwriters across the country bringing some of the most timely, important, entertaining and compelling new works to audiences. These readings are informal and stripped down. Enjoy the latest theater and film in its early stage of development. Many of these will be live streamed and may feature a mediated talk back or an invitation to provide audience feedback to the author.

Playwright: Meghan McEnery

Meghan McEnery is Los Angeles-based playwright and dramaturg. She has developed and produced work at Trike Theater, Actors Studio West, TheatreSquared, Arkansas Staged, and the University of Arkansas, and has taught playwriting and screenwriting workshops at New York Film Academy and River Styx Magazine. She holds an MFA from the University of Arkansas, and is originally from St. Louis, MO.
